Dauphin County authorities said 29-year-old Ishmael Muhammad was shot Monday after he threatened to attack a 26-year-old man and a 2-year-old girl as well officers during Monday's standoff in Harrisburg.
The (Harrisburg) Patriot-News ( http://bit.ly/WyiLct) says Coroner Graham Hetrick said Wednesday that his office is still awaiting the results of toxicology tests.
Assistant District Attorney Fran Chardo said earlier that Muhammad appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Police said they tried to negotiate for a few hours before entering the apartment.
