EAST NORRITON, Pa.—One person has been found dead in a house fire in suburban Philadelphia.

Fire officials say the blaze broke out around 1:45 a.m. Thursday at a home in East Norriton. WPVI-TV reports ( http://bit.ly/WP1yJy) the fast-moving fire quickly spread through the first and second floors and to the roof.

Firefighters searched the house and found a person dead on the second floor. The identity of the victim has not been released.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
