WNEP-TV reports (http://bit.ly/VaGqQt) Mark Miller was sentenced in Lackawanna County Court on Tuesday to 300 hours of community service.
The Scranton police officer had pleaded guilty in October to summary offenses of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness in exchange for the dropping of the more serious charges.
Miller had initially faced charges of assault, terroristic threats, inciting a riot, harassment and related counts stemming from a fight outside a Scranton bar in July 2011.
