ERIE, Pa.—Jury selection has begun for the trial of a northwestern Pennsylvania woman charged with fatally shooting her boyfriend while his infant son was in a nearby room.

Thirty-one-year-old 31-year-old Rachel Kozloff, of Erie, has denied killing 31-year-old Michael Henry on April 12, though she acknowledged they had an argument during which he pushed her down the stairs.

The Erie Times-News ( reports Erie County prosecutors have charged Kozloff because she acknowledged being the last person to see him alive, and because they believe she shot him using a .40-caliber Glock that she purchased last November with a kit to convert it to 9mm.

Police never found the alleged murder weapon, but found spent 9mm shells in Henry's apartment and say Kozloff's friends told them she always carried her gun in her purse.
