UPPER DARBY, Pa.—An employee of a T-Mobile store outside Philadelphia is in custody after a two-day manhunt prompted by a stabbing.

Police say a 59-year-old man went to the store in Upper Darby on Tuesday afternoon to complain about his bill when a physical confrontation began with 21-year-old Darnell Schoolfield, a store employee.

Upper Darby Police say the customer ripped Schoolfield's name tag off and went to file a police complaint when he realized he was bleeding badly from the left side of his stomach.

The customer apparently thought he had only been punched. He needed surgery for a stab wound and is in stable condition.

The Delaware County Times reports (http://bit.ly/UI1Cc3) Schoolfield was arrested Thursday at a hotel in Newark, Del.

Police are now seeking to have Schoolfield extradited to Pennsylvania.
