KANE, Pa.—Authorities say one person is dead and another missing after their canoe capsized on a northwestern Pennsylvania reservoir.

The McKean County coroner's office says a woman's body was recovered Sunday afternoon, a couple hours after the canoe she was riding in overturned on the Allegheny Reservoir.

A man who was also in the canoe is missing. Rescuers eventually called off their search for him but are to resume looking Monday.

Officials did not identify either person involved.
