PITTSBURGH—Bruce Springsteen will be in Pittsburgh this weekend for a get-out-the-vote effort in support of President Barack Obama.

The Obama campaign said Thursday that Springsteen will make a special appearance at the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are required and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The free tickets will be available starting at noon Friday at three Obama for America campaign offices in Pittsburgh. The offices are at 1400 Smallman St., 115 Atwood St. and 200 N. Highland Ave.
