That's because Meadville has closed its city hall while it moves from its longtime location to a new location, City Hall on Diamond Park, across from the Crawford County Courthouse.
The Meadville Tribune ( http://bit.ly/PSbVOj) reports police dispatchers were remaining in the old city hall until noon Thursday, at which time police operations will begin out of the new location. But the remainder of the old and new city halls will be closed for the rest of the week so officials can finish moving.
The new city hall will open to the public on Monday morning.
Meadville is about 90 miles north of Pittsburgh, along Interstate 79.
