Court records indicate that 47-year-old Michael Sims of Harrisburg pleaded guilty earlier this month in Dauphin County to involuntary manslaughter and conspiracy to commit robbery.
He and two other men were charged in the August 2010 death of 43-year-old Ty Depew at a bus transfer plaza in Harrisburg. The other defendants are awaiting trial.
Deputy District Attorney Michael Rozman told the York Dispatch that he didn't believe anyone intended to kill the victim, who died of head injuries.
He said Depew had been hospitalized for several days for treatment of dehydration and other issues and was released a few hours before the attack.
