1. FEDS, STATE, LOCAL AUTHORITIES ESTABLISH TIP LINE FOR PHILLY CORRUPTION

The number is 855-FBI-TIPS, but the state attorney general, Philadelphia police and other agencies will help the FBI investigate any tips called in by residents looking to end the city's "pay-to-play" culture.

2. MAN CHARGED WITH TRYING TO EXTORT MONEY FROM RETIRED STEELERS STAR, NBC BROADCASTER HINES WARD DUE IN COURT

Twenty-six-year-old Joshua Van Auker faces a preliminary hearing today on charges he threatened to release information that Ward paid women for sex unless Van Auker was paid $15,000 to keep quiet.

3. PHILLY-AREA STUDENT VIDEOTAPED HAVING SEX WITH GIRL SUING TO CHALLENGE SCHOOL SUSPENSION

The attorney for 16-year-old Anders Hemdal says the Schuylkill Valley School District unfairly suspended his client for his behavior on a school trip to Morocco. The district isn't commenting on the suit which says Hemdal was victimized by another student who recorded the sex with a cellphone camera.

4. FEDS SAY FORMER PITTSBURGH STEELERS TEAM DOCTOR WAS ADDICTED TO VICODIN, KEPT WRITING PRESCRIPTIONS DESPITE SUSPENDED LICENSE

As a result, a federal magistrate says Dr. Richard Rydze (ridz) will be on house arrest until his trial on charges of illegally prescribing steroids and painkillers. The team cut ties with Rydze in 2007, and the team and the doctor say no players got the illegal drugs.

5. PENN STATE WANTS JUDGE TO DELAY MIKE MCQUEARY'S WHISTLEBLOWER LAWSUIT

University lawyers wants to delay it until after athletic director Tim Curley and retired vice president Gary Schultz stand trial on charges they didn't properly report suspected child abuse by former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. McQueary has said he saw Sandusky having sex with a boy in a campus shower.
