The (Wilkes-Barre) Times Leader ( http://bit.ly/RanuPi) says attorneys for Hugo Selenski have 30 days following Thursday's state Superior Court ruling to decide whether to appeal to the state Supreme Court.
Selenski's attorneys had asked the appeals to dismiss the charges against Selenski in the 2002 killings of pharmacist Michael Kerkowski and Kerkowski's girlfriend, Tammy Fassett.
Selenski was acquitted in the slayings of two other men whose remains were found, but is serving time in a home invasion case.
The appeals court ruled that prosecutors were justified in splitting the four murders into two separate trials.
