PHILADELPHIA—The Mid-Atlantic region of the Associated Press Sports Editors will hold a workshop and sports journalism summit in conjunction with Temple University on Monday, Oct. 29.

The event will be held at the Howard Gittis Student Center 200B, on Temple's campus at 12th and Montgomery streets in Philadelphia. Registration, coffee and continental breakfast will start at 9 a.m. The first session will begin at 9:45 a.m.

There is no charge for attending. Please RSVP by Oct. 24. The lone cost is parking.

Presentations will be made throughout the day on several topics:

— Getting to the heart of the story.

— Finding your career path.

— General networking and job fair.

— Best practices of social media for reporting and branding.

— And the money side of sports.
