PITTSBURGH—Former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan has been scheduled to speak at the 2012 One Young World Summit in Pittsburgh this week.

Annan will speak at the event on Sunday, addressing about 1,200 delegates to the convention from 190 countries.

One Young World is a charity designed to give youth leaders a high-profile platform on which to address issues ranging from education and global business to human rights.

This year's summit is being held from Thursday through Monday in Pittsburgh.
