DOYLESTOWN, Pa.—Authorities say the body of a student was found in a dormitory room on the campus of a suburban Philadelphia college.

Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler told The Philadelphia Inquirer ( http://bit.ly/OP5NGB) that the body was found Monday in the Delaware Valley College dorm room.

He says there was no apparent criminal cause of death, and the country coroner would try to determine the cause of death.

The college posted a statement Monday night saying the victim was a 21-year-old female student from New Jersey, and offered condolences to the family.

The statement said "The situation indicates this to be an isolated incident and there is no danger to our college community."

Officials said counselors would be available to the 1,700 students at the Doylestown campus.
