The (Allentown) Morning Call ( http://bit.ly/SrcL3i) says 35-year-old Pedro Alicea-Perez of Allentown hung his head Friday in Lehigh County Court as he entered the plea to a third-degree murder charge.
Alicea-Perez had been scheduled to go on trial Monday on a first-degree murder charge in the Jan. 29 slaying of 29-year-old Andy Hernandez Rojas.
Prosecutors said Rojas had kicked the defendant out of Tu Casa Night Club, and the victim was later ambushed outside an after-hours club.
Alicea-Perez, who will be sentenced in November, also pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property and a weapons charge.
