ALTOONA, Pa.—The men wearing high-heeled women's shoes on the Penn State-Altoona campus weren't trying to raise eyebrows.

Rather, they were trying to raise awareness that college-aged women are four times as likely as any other age group of to be sexually assault.

The Altoona Mirror ( http://bit.ly/VUaEFq) reports that male faculty, staff and students walked a lap around campus in the shoes on Thursday as part or RAINN Day.

The national campaign is named for the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network which tracks the sexual assault statistics and advocates policies to change that.

The campus is about 85 miles east of Pittsburgh.
