PITTSBURGH—A western Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole in a shooting death that a witness said stemmed from a dispute over a bail money debt.

Twenty-six-year-old Antonio Stamps of Sheraden was sentenced Wednesday in Allegheny County Court on first-degree murder and firearms convictions in the May 2011 slaying of 20-year-old Andrew Smith.

A witness testified that she heard the two men arguing over money on the day of the shooting because one had bailed the other out of jail. She said she saw Stamps get out of a sport utility vehicle in Sheraden, confront the victim and shoot him in the face.
