LIGONIER, Pa.—A search warrant shows police were looking for prescription drugs while investigating the death of a 25-year-old western Pennsylvania woman whose body was found at the home of a physician she met about three weeks ago.

The Associated Press is not identifying the 53-year-old Ligonier Township doctor because he has not been charged in the woman's death. Westmoreland County District Attorney John Peck says the investigation "does not imply any criminality" but is necessary because Mia Vottero's death remains unexplained.

The Southwest Greensburg woman was found dead in bed on Friday.

Investigators say she and the doctor were at a bar the night before and returned to his house for sex before he found her dead the next morning.

Police suspect an overdose, but are trying to determine what drugs were involved and where she got them.
