ALLENTOWN, Pa.—State police say a sport utility vehicle plowed into a group waiting at a bus stop, killing two men and injuring three other people including the driver.

Police in Bethlehem say the accident happened just before 3:30 p.m. Monday in Hanover Township in Lehigh County near the Lehigh Valley International Airport.

Investigators said the SUV was heading east when it hit a utility pole and the victims waiting at a Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority bus stop, then plowed through a fence.

Police said two men were trapped under the vehicle, and 51-year-old Elias Tabarani of Allentown was pronounced dead at the scene. The others were taken to nearby hospitals, and 28-year-old Angel Bosch of Easton later died there.

Police were seeking witnesses to the crash, which remains under investigation.
