PITTSBURGH—Two western Pennsylvania men have been convicted of first-degree murder and robbery in a slaying at a Pittsburgh-area apartment complex a year ago.

Jurors deliberated for about six hours over two days before convicting 27-year-old Matthew Ebo of Homewood and 33-year-old Thaddeus Crumbley of Turtle Creek.

They are scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 28 in the May 2011 slaying of Todd Mattox in the Leechburg Garden complex in Penn Hills.

Arriving officers found the victim on the ground with at least one gunshot to the head.
