Court records say 45-year-old Sherry Hubert was also driving with a suspended license at the time of the July 21 crash that killed 48-year-old Kim Smith and 58-year-old Lydia Riley in Taylor, Lackawanna County.
The Times-Tribune of Scranton ( http://bit.ly/RHig9K) reports the crash killed Smith instantly and Riley succumbed to her injuries a few days later.
Court records say Hubert was driving 95 mph at the time of the crash. Police say her blood-alcohol level was 0.208, well over twice the legal limit for drivers of 0.08.
Hubert was arraigned Saturday and held on $50,000 bail. Court records don't list an attorney for her.
