The (Uniontown) Herald-Standard ( http://bit.ly/ObKJFg) says 37-year-old Tammy Bohon and 57-year-old Robert Dodson both pleaded guilty Friday in Fayette County Court to involuntary manslaughter and endangering the welfare of children.
Authorities said 15-month-old Madison Dodson died of dehydration and malnutrition in January 2011 in their Point Marion home.
Both acknowledged in court that they knew the child was very sick but did nothing to help her. They said they understood that the plea could mean loss of custody of their remaining seven children, who have been in the care of Children and Youth Services since their parents' arrest.
