Corbett says he wants the board to examine the case of Rafael Jones, who was released from prison ten days before he allegedly shot and killed Philadelphia police Officer Moses Walker Jr. on Aug. 18.
The Philadelphia Inquirer ( http://bit.ly/SYHFBw) reports that during that time Jones was supposed to be under electronic monitoring and failed a probation office drug test but wasn't taken into custody as a judge had ordered.
Investigators say Jones and another man killed Walker during a robbery as he walked home in street clothes after his shift.
