MOOSIC, Pa.—Officials say a Xerox subsidiary will be bringing close to 150 new jobs to northeastern Pennsylvania.

Xerox spokesman Bill McKee tells The (Scranton) Times-Tribune ( http://bit.ly/PUfAtQ) that TMS Health is adding more customer support positions in Moosic.

He says the workers will go through a six-week training process and will then be taking calls for various global health care providers.

Xerox acquired TMS Health in 2010 and currently employs 75 people in the area.

Moosic council president Joseph Mercatili says the additional jobs will also help other businesses in the borough.
