GETTYSBURG, Pa.—Prosecutors in central Pennsylvania say a man has been charged in the shooting death of a woman last week.

Adams County District Attorney Shawn Wagner said Monday that 27-year-old Prince Brantley of Gettysburg was arrested after he went to a state police barracks to talk about the Friday shooting death of 19-year-old Shiphod Brown of Gettysburg.

Authorities allege that Brantley fired at a car Brown was driving, and she was able to drive to Gettysburg Hospital but later died there. The (Hanover) Evening Sun ( http://bit.ly/MYTaYi) says Wagner said more arrests are possible.

Brantley is charged with criminal homicide and firearms violations and is being held at Adams County prison without bail. A listed number for him could not be found and it was unclear whether he had an attorney.
