Authorities say it's unclear which man opened fire first, or why, so they dismissed more serious charges including aggravated assault and crafted Wednesday's plea deals to lesser charges of endangering patrons at the Metropolitan Dance Club on Aug. 7. Police say four people were wounded and that about 75 people were at the club at the time.
The Erie Times-New ( http://bit.ly/NZqKef) reports 26-year-old Deandre Carr and 20-year-old Shannon Jones, both of Erie, each pleaded no contest on Wednesday.
Carr will be sentenced Sept. 24 and faces up to 11 years in prison. Jones will be sentenced Sept. 20. His potential sentence is unclear because he has a prior felony conviction.
