PITTSBURGH—An 18-year-old Pittsburgh man has been jailed on charges he beat his brother with a gun he didn't have a license to carry after surrendering to police and SWAT officers who responded to the scene.

Online court records don't list an attorney for Dion Rooney of the city's Carrick section.

Police were called when Rooney allegedly hit his 22-year-old brother with the gun and then pointed the weapon at him. Police responded and then called in a SWAT team when Rooney reportedly refused to surrender.

Nobody else was hurt during the incident.
