FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa.—Police say a collision involving two vehicles in suburban Philadelphia has claimed the lives of two people.

WPVI-TV ( http://bit.ly/NyW2qj) says the accident happened at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 13 in Falls Township in Bucks County.

Authorities said the crash sent one of the cars off the road and into a wooded area. The driver and passenger were both ejected from the car and were later pronounced dead. Their names have not been released.

Police said the driver of the other vehicle was taken to Saint Mary's Hospital for treatment. There was no immediate word about his condition.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
