Officials say Dixie, Dolly and Lloyd disappeared Sunday from their enclosure behind the Good 'N Plenty Restaurant on Route 896 in East Lampeter Township.
Justin Lapp, who oversees the zoo and kitchen, said the gates were closed and there were signs that the animals tried to elude capture.
He told the (Lancaster) Intelligencer Journal ( http://bit.ly/MwfdjJ) that he fears that they won't be found alive.
Lt. Robin Weaver said police have no leads and added that he "can't think of anything good that could have happened."
Lapp said the 4-pound white sheep cost about $200 each and were to be joined by four goats in about a week
