HOUMA, La.—K&B Machine Works LLC this week will work to fill various positions at its new Terrebonne Parish facility that will open next year.

In March, the company that produces pipe for the petroleum industry announced it was building a 200,000-square-foot manufacturing and headquarters facility in in Shriever to consolidate its current 11-building complex into a single 35-acre manufacturing site.

On Saturday, K&B Machine will hold a job fair at Fletcher Technical Community College in Houma from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The fair will target applicants with skills including CNC machinists, CNC leads, quality control inspectors and manual machinists. Hiring will begin following the job fair, after applicants go through a screening process.

K&B Machine also has facilities in Houston and Montoursville, Pa.
