PHILADELPHIA—All service has been restored for Amtrak trains running between Philadelphia and Trenton after a person was struck and killed Tuesday morning.

Local commuter trains were also delayed after a person was hit by a northbound Amtrak train around 6:30 a.m. in Philadelphia's Holmesburg neighborhood.

No information was immediately available on the person who was struck.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority reported delays of at least an hour. Amtrak told passengers to expect residual delays.
