PHILADELPHIA—Authorities say a man and a woman were shot to death as they sat on the front porch of a home in the Olney section of north Philadelphia.

Chief Inspector Scott Small says a male approached the 21-year-old victims at about 8:30 p.m. Monday and fired five or six shots, hitting both in the head and chest.

Officials say the man was pronounced dead at the scene and the woman was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

No arrests were immediately reported. Small says police are looking for a young man in a gray hooded sweat shirt.
