UNIONTOWN, Pa.—Police have charged a western Pennsylvania man with homicide after a Sunday morning shooting in Uniontown.

Police say 28-year-old Marlin Crawford died after allegedly being shot in the head at about 4:30 a.m. by 27-year-old Kurtavius Jermon Smith of Uniontown.

The victim died at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

Smith is being held without bail at Fayette County Prison.

An attorney wasn't listed on court papers.
