HOOKSTOWN, Pa.—A large brass bell has been stolen from a western Pennsylvania church.

Police say the bell was taken sometime over the weekend from in front of the Frankfort Springs Presbyterian Church in Hookstown, about 35 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

According to the church webpage, the congregation there first organized in 1790.

State police are investigating and haven't made any arrests.
