NORRISTOWN, Pa.—More than 30 people face charges after authorities said they broke up a methamphetamine trafficking operation that operated in Philadelphia and suburban Montgomery County.

Authorities said Tuesday the investigation began last year with a tip and ended after 14 search warrants were executed in February.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said law enforcement officials used wiretaps to determine the extent of the operation, which centered on the distribution of methamphetamine from a home in Hatfield Township.

A total of 32 people face drug act and corrupt organizations violations.
