The Erie Times-News (http://bit.ly/ItTJHd) says 20-year-old Xavier Hollamon was sentenced Tuesday to nine to 18 months in the Erie County Prison, but was freed because he's already spent 10 months in jail.
Hollamon testified at the starvation trial against 21-year-old Tania Coleman, who was convicted of first-degree murder in her daughter's death.
Erie County District Attorney Jack Daneri also dropped an unrelated firearm charge against Hollaman last month, but said that happened because of problems with evidence, not because of Hollamon's testimony against Coleman.
