HARRISBURG, Pa.—A central Pennsylvania man is scheduled to be sentenced in July in the fatal 2009 crash that killed a cab driver and his passenger.

Thirty-two-year-old Andrew Denezza faces sentencing in July for causing the crash that claimed the lives of Harrisburg cab driver Michael Amissah and his passenger, 28-year-old Kristin Bowser of Camp Hill.

Denezza pleaded guilty Thursday to charges including vehicular homicide and involuntary manslaughter. Investigators say he drove into oncoming traffic on Harrisburg's Market Street Bridge on Oct. 3, 2009, and hit the cab head-on. Police say Denezza acknowledged drinking and texting on his phone before the crash

Denezza's attorney says his client is "extremely remorseful."

Bowser's husband was also injured in the crash.
