Sixty-year-old Lt. Robert Neary and 25-year-old firefighter Daniel Sweeney were killed Monday when a wall collapsed while they inspected a building adjacent to a warehouse where a massive fire had erupted.
Firefighters traveled from as far as Texas, Tennessee and Canada to pay their respects Friday to the fallen firefighters.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. The warehouse's owner had been repeatedly cited for code violations.
Two other firefighters were hurt. Forty-three-year-old Francis Chaney was treated and released Monday. Twenty-five-year-old Patrick Nally is out of intensive care and in fair condition.
