MOSCOW, Pa.—Authorities in eastern Pennsylvania say a four-month-old girl died in a fast-moving fire in a trailer home.

The (Scranton) Times-Tribune ( http://bit.ly/HqD4zP) says the Lackawanna County blaze was reported at 9:10 a.m. Saturday at Hillside Mobile Home Park.

Madison Twp. Fire Chief Kevin Emerson says the trailer was engulfed in flames when he arrived.

Authorities said several other children and adults were rescued by neighbors or got to safety on their own.

Emerson said the they were taken by ambulances to Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.

He and Mark Naylor, a state police fire marshal, said the cause of the fire has not been determined but it isn't believed to have been suspicious in origin.
