The (Harrisburg) Patriot-News ( http://bit.ly/Hn0CEo) says jurors deliberated for about six hours over two days before convicting 21-year-old Lashae Tolbert of Harrisburg of aggravated assault and conspiracy.
Her sister, 26-year-old Asia Wannamaker, earlier pleaded guilty to similar charges in the October 2010 attack.
Authorities said the two threw hot water on Wannamaker's neighbor and then doused the other woman when she came to help, sending both victims to the Lehigh Valley Hospital burn unit.
Deputy District Attorney Chase Defelice called the attacks "horrific." Defense attorney Wendy Grella insisted that Tolbert was a bystander in assaults by her sister.
Wannamaker is to be sentenced later this month; Tolbert's sentencing has not been scheduled.
