PHILADELPHIA—Police in Philadelphia have released the identity of a man found shot to death in the city's Fairmount Park.

Police say the body 26-year-old Montague White was found Saturday morning in the southern end of the western section of the park.

Authorities said he had been shot multiple times in the chest and hip and was pronounced dead just before 6 a.m. Saturday.

A police spokeswoman said "The motive is listed as an argument."

Investigators have not announced the arrest of any suspects.
