I am an eighth-grader at York Catholic. I am working on Boy Scout merit badges and discovered that it is hard to find CPR classes in York.

CPR is a practice that saves people's lives in medical emergencies. It is a quick and easy practice anyone can learn.

CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It can be used to help save someone's life while an ambulance is on its way to the victim. This practice is necessary after a heart attack, electrical shock or drowning. It is a fast way to get oxygen to the body.

I had been planning to take a CPR certification class over the summer, but because there were none available over the summer in York I will be taking one out of the state.

It is very important that people are educated on basic first aid and CPR.
