Dogs don't belong in stores

I was at Wal-Mart on Loucks Road on March 7, talking with my nephew, when a family passed by and had their pet dog in the grocery cart, sitting where you would sit your child.

I saw a manager talk with them, but they didn't take the dog outside.

After checking out, would you believe they went right to McDonald's, dog and all?

Where were the greeters to stop them at the door? Wal-Mart allows no pets except for working dogs for the blind and disabled.

Let's hope the greeters will stay on their toes and not let this happen again.
