York Mayor C. Kim Bracey will host a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at the York YWCA, 320 E. Market St.

City residents are invited to attend the meeting to hear updates on city projects, programs and activities and share their concerns, suggestions and comments with the mayor and York City government directors. Residents will be able to meet Leonardo McClarty, York's new director of economic and community development.

Free CFL bulbs will also be available to residents during the meeting. There is a limit of two bulbs per household and proof of York City residency, such as a driver's license or a utility bill, will be required. The free CFL bulbs are 13-watt and 26-watt, which are comparable to regular 40-watt and 75-watt incandescent bulbs, respectively.
