October is "Clergy Appreciation Month."

Rep. Keith Gillespie, 47th Legislative District, notes that York County "received more than $365,000 from the collection of an impact fee on natural gas drilling activities in the Marcellus Shale. The money generated by Act 13 fees will be used to support environmental, highway, water and sewer projects."

York Rotary will hear tomorrow from Ed Magee, general manager of Harley-Davidson, whose workers produce more than 100,000 motorcycles each year. He'll also discuss HD's $100,000-million-plus "physical and cultural transformation of the consolidated 'New Factory York'."
