I am grateful to the more than 1,800 Republican and Democratic voters in the York Suburban School District who supported me for re-election to the board. Because of you, I will be on both ballots in the November election. I appreciate the passion you have shown and expressed to me in support of my "keeping the focus on students" philosophy of education.
Thank you to those who encouraged me to run; my family, friends, and the parents and grandparents who supported me; the dozens of women and men who worked at the polls on my behalf; the people across the district who allowed me to place signs on their lawns; and to those who wrote letters to the editor supporting my candidacy.
These people know that York Suburban's reputation for educational excellence not only benefits the students, but also makes the district a desirable place for families to live and also sustains property values.
I sincerely appreciate your trust in me. I look forward to returning to the school board and the continuation of my advocacy for our most valuable "community asset" -- our children.
I look forward to seeing you at the polls in November.
