A York City woman was arrested Friday after Northern York County Regional Police stopped her vehicle in Manchester Township.
Police arrested 23-year-old Heather Beck after stopping her vehicle at 1:48 a.m. Friday for a burned-out headlight on Route 30 near the Susquehanna Trail.
During the stop, police detected a strong odor of marijuana and obtained permission from Beck to search the car. Four individual baggies of marijuana were found in the glove compartment and weighed a combined 1/8 of a pound, according to a news release.
Beck was taken into custody and transported to central booking to be arraigned for possession with intent to deliver marijuana, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 292-3647.
