Motorists on Interstate 83 southbound in Spring Garden Township should expect delays tThursday as worker repair a bridge deck.

Weather permitting, York County maintenance crews will patch a concrete bridge deck on I-83 southbound between Exit 21 (the Route 30 exit) and Exit 19 (the West Market Street exit) between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., PennDOT said in a news release.

The highway will be down to a single lane in the area of the work.

Motorists are encouraged to slow down and pay attention when traveling through work zones, PennDOT said.
