Roundtop Mountain Resort will host the King of Jib freestyle ski and snowboard event this weekend.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Qualifying begins at 10:30 a.m., and the finals will be held at 6 p.m.

Participants will compete for a $1,000 first prize and $500 second prize, which are two of the largest prizes for a regional event this season, according to a news release.

The entry fee is $25 per person and is limited to 100 competitors.
