Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church will continue the year-long celebration of its 100th anniversary in February with the re-creation of the first wedding at the "Little Green Church."

Sweetheart Sunday will be celebrated during the worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday at 415 N. West St. As part of the service, stand-ins will exchange vows as William Henry Reiver and Myrtle Catherine Dutery. The northern York County couple was the first to be united in marriage at Trinity on March 28, 1914. Descendants of the couple have been invited to attend. Additionally, several other couples from the congregation will renew their marriage vows.
